Overview

SageScreen supports multilingual screenings through integrated text-to-speech and speech-to-text services. Language is configured per Sage during creation or can be updated on a deployed Sage at any time. The language setting determines the voice the Sage uses when speaking and the transcription language for candidate responses.

Language support is included on all Sage levels: Lite, Core, and Advanced. You can select from any of the languages listed in the table below.

Notes

  • The default language is English (US) if no language is explicitly selected during Sage creation.
  • Language affects both the Sage's spoken output and the transcription of candidate speech.
  • Voice selection and language selection are independent. Available voices vary by language.
  • Language can be changed on a deployed Sage without affecting its evaluation framework.
Important

English Proficiency is a separate feature available on Core and Advanced Sage levels only. It evaluates a candidate's English language proficiency during the screening and is independent of the Sage's configured language.
